Civik People is a social enterprise that helps overlooked individuals secure sustainable employment, while helping employers build stronger teams.

Many of the people we work with have the skills, resilience and desire to contribute, but face barriers to entering the workforce. We help turn that potential into meaningful employment.

For jobseekers: We offer individual coaching and support to build skills, confidence and career pathways.

For employers: We deliver free inclusive recruitment and retention solutions that help you access diverse talent and build stronger teams.

We work closely with you to understand your workplace, culture, roles and workforce needs. We then connect you with candidates whose skills, experience and aspirations align with what you need.

From sourcing and screening through to onboarding and the first six months of employment, we provide tailored support to increase retention and help your new employee and your team succeed.

We can support your organisation in meeting its social responsibility commitments under the ESG framework, particularly in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.

Find the right people

We work one-on-one with job seekers to understand their strengths, experience, aspirations and circumstances, and assess their suitability for your roles.

We then coach, support and mentor job seekers through applications and interviews.

Support successful employment

Our support continues beyond recruitment. We provide wrap-around-support to selected candidates through onboarding processes, including medical, police and work rights checks, inductions and set up on your HRIS.

We continue to support new employees as they settle into their roles, celebrating wins and working through any teething issues that arise.

Our support extends to your operational and human resources team members during the first 6 months of employment. We can also assist your team or organisation in becoming a ‘welcoming workplace’, if required.

We’re here to support you every step of the way

1: We get to know you

We meet with you to get an understanding of your skills and the work you like doing. We’re also keen to learn about any other preferences you might have e.g. flexible working arrangements, family commitments etc that may impact the type of work you can do.

2: We help you find good work

Once we know the type of work you are looking for, we help you find the right type of job and guide you with applications and interviews. We also connect you to other service providers who can help with any upskilling or language support you may need.

3: We help get you ready for work

Once you have been offered a job you are happy with, we help get you ready and set up for work, including getting your payroll details in order, working out your best travel routes to and from work. We’re on hand to help resolve any questions you might have.

4: We support you in your new job

Our support doesn’t stop once you’re in a job. We’re just a phone call away should you need any further support.
